Marble Fade Guide: A Comprehensive Approach to Fire and Ice

Depending on the knife-pattern combination, the price range varies from $100 to multiple thousands of dollars. Why? Mostly because this pattern is so uniquely crafted that it’s hard to find anything like it elsewhere.

First introduced to CS:GO on January 2015, Marble Fade skins could be found in Chroma Cases. It is worth mentioning that Doppler skins also came from the same cases.

Originally, Marble Fades were not available for all knives, but Valve Corp. decided to add these finishes to all melee weapons in 2017 with the Spectrum Case. From that point on, users could drop Marble Fades with the Spectrum Case for knives that were not covered by the first version.

In terms of appearance, the Marble Fade can be described primarily with black and silver metallic tones coated with contrasting “rainbow” colors – gold (yellow), ice (blue), and fire (red).

Players worried about their camouflage due to the bright colors do not need to worry much, as all the colors soon look bloody red when you are in combat. The rarest version of Marble Fades is the “Fire & Ice” version, which is only read and blue on the blade side.

Please note that you will NOT find this special version available for the following knives:

  • Bowie Knife
  • Huntsman Knife
  • Falchion
  • Butterfly Knife
  • Shadow Daggers
  • M9 Bayonet

Exclusively available for Karambits, Gut Knives, Bayonets, and Flip Knives, you will find this pattern available in ten different maxes according to how reddish the blade looks. The first level features a greater percentage of red compared to the other maxes, which gradually feature less red until the 10th max.
